Amazing Slo-mo Footage of Driver Impacting Titleist Ball

Twenty-two thousand. That’s how many frames per second some camera that Titleist obtained can shoot. So what did the company do with it? Film a driver smashing a golf ball over and over and over.

Paul Furze, Titleist’s Manager of Product Test Methods, said the camera can get 10-12 individual frames with a ball on the clubface. That’s more than enough to watch an uncrushable golf ball make like Jell-O and wobble.

Just try not to be fascinated.

Isn’t a great how giddy Furze gets when talking about his job? “I’m like a 2-year-old with a light switch. Look what I can make this thing do!” he says.

Looks like Titleist found the perfect man for the job.
