Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn have had some “nasty” arguments about Woods not planning on attending the Winter Games to support Vonn in her first return to the Olympics after a knee injury.

Vonn’s slalom and giant slalom events are scheduled on February 18 and 21, respectively. Woods is scheduled to play in the Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona that same week.
One report is saying that Vonn told Tiger, “I supported you this season. Now it’s your turn to support me in public. I’m not just your cheerleader – I’m a world-class athlete, too!” Personally, something tells me Lindsey wouldn’t have exclaimed “I’m a world-class athlete”, but that’s just me.
The couple’s relationship is unique in that both athletes are top of their respective sport, much like Rory McIlroy and tennis star Caroline Wozniacki. This is the first time the public has learned of any friction between Woods and Vonn, but that just reminds everyone that they’re completely normal people who have completely normal arguments.
Well, about as normal as two world-class athletes can have, of course.
