Last Thursday, we saw the longest, greatest three-foot birdie putt ever. Today, thanks to PGA.com, we came across a challenger.
Just a couple days after that first putt went up a hill and back down into the cup, Matt Field posted video of a very similar putt. Only his wasn’t for birdie because it was on the practice green, and it included two balls. They both dropped:
According to PGA.com, the putt was about six feet, but Field hit the balls nearly 20 feet past the cup. He then high-fived himself.
“Putting the two balls is just a part of my practice to make sure I’ve got the putter face square,” Field told PGA.com. “I got a bit bored so decided to try something different.”
