After more than three years with the Golf Channel, Holly Sonders is leaving for Fox Sports. Golfweek reported Friday that she turned down a new contract the day before.
Fox will begin airing the U.S. Open and other USGA events in 2015, and Sonders is expected to be a part of that coverage. Sources say she will also work as a sideline reporter for the network during NFL games.
“We didn’t come to terms,” a spokesman told Golfweek about contract negotiations. “We wish her the best in her future endeavors.”
