Play at the FedEx St. Jude Classic has been suspended due to inclement weather, and for good reason. Torrential downpour and high winds have caused a mess on the course, knocking over fencing and flooding the course. A few players have been playing the part of storm chaser during the weather delay, giving fans updates from the course.
Looks like we’re just going to hang out and wait for these storms to pass!! #FESJC

If the weather channel starts beeping at you is that a bad sign?

I hope all the spectators, vendors and volunteers left the grounds in time . This storm is nasty.

During the delay, Lee Westwood wanted to make sure that Ian Poulter put the kettle on to warm some water for him. Unfortunately for Westwood, Poulter didn’t do as he asked.
No I’m bored shitless sitting outside because it’s -5 inside the locker room. Awaiting to chip & putt & get get out of here. @WestwoodLee
— Ian Poulter (@IanJamesPoulter) June 6, 2014
Instead, Poulter asked Westwood to run him a hot bath for when he gets home. Westwood politely asked what temperature Poulter wanted the bath water at. What a guy.
@IanJamesPoulter what temp darling?
— Lee Westwood (@WestwoodLee) June 6, 2014
According to Poulter, play is set to resume Saturday at 8 a.m. EST, and he doesn’t seem happy about it.
