Michael Jordan was a big part of the 2012 Ryder Cup after being chosen by captain Davis Love III as honorary member of the American squad. If you remember, he got in Ian Poulter’s head with a finger wag or two — although it didn’t seem to phase the Englishman.

But being the competitor that he is, Jordan’s back for more.
He’s on the grounds this year at Gleneagles supporting the U.S. team, cigar and all.
The players must love seeing such an American legend out supporting the team. At least Rickie Fowler does.

Prior to teeing off for his afternoon match, Fowler went over to the Hall of Famer and got a big hug. Oh, the perks of playing in the Ryder Cup.
And of course he’s hanging out with Captain Tom Watson.
We’ll see if Jordan can rattle Poulter this time. All Jordan has to do is show him the six rings on his fingers. That should do the trick.
