The golf ball may not always bounce the way he’d like but it’s a safe bet Greg Norman is counting his lucky stars today.
As we reported briefly early Sunday, Norman was involved in a chain saw accident at his home — but is safe and recovering.
According to the Associated Press, the two-time major champion and World Golf Hall-of-Famer was cutting back trees at his home in Florida when a branch forced his hand towards the running chain saw blade. The blade cut him on his left wrist, reportedly missing his artery by a “fraction of an inch.”
Fortunately, the blade wasn’t running full speed.
Norman underwent surgery to repair nerve damage and it was ruled by doctors that there was no damage to his arteries or tendons.
