What brought me here was the realization that my comments inflamed an audience on two sides of an issue.

Golf is a gentleman’s game and I’m not proud of this debate. I want to apologize to Tiger for this incited discourse.

And no – I was not asked to apologize

As Back9Network’s own Jon Ackerman pointed out earlier today, in Chamblee’s first comments since a controversial column he published last week for Golf.com – in which he gave Woods a grade of “F” for the season – Chamblee told the Associated Press that he’s entitled to his opinions and others are entitled to theirs. Other than that, Chamblee has been awfully mum on offering any additional comments related to Woods… that is, until his Twitter posts.
