The task: Sum up the year of 2013 in golf and look ahead to 2014. Who better to accomplish such a feat than the people who played in or worked around the pro levels?
So we posed 10 questions to some of Back9Network’s ambassadors: players Cheyenne Woods, William McGirt, Willy Pumarol and Berry Henson; Matt Adams, host of “Fairways of Life” on PGA Tour Radio; and Jim Remy, former PGA of America President.

6) What was your best shot of the year?
William McGirt: Four-iron into No. 18 on Monday to finish at Bay Hill.
Willy Pumarol: See question No. 3 😉
Barry Henson: Had many too many up and downs from the trash can to only pick one!
Matt Adams: None of mine come to mind, but I can narrow down my favorite rounds to being those played at Lahinch (Ireland) in 2013 (I’m a member there).
Jim Remy: Tap-in eagle on No. 7 at Okemo Valley for a big Quota League win!

7) What do you think will be the biggest story to watch in 2014?
Cheyenne Woods: Tiger Woods.
McGirt: Will Tiger win a major?
Pumarol: Hopefully it will be how great I’m playing and getting the W’s. Oh, and the Ryder Cup.
Henson: I think Camilo Villegas will make a comeback.
Adams: Will Tiger win major No. 15?
Remy: Will Tiger go to the Olympics to watch Lindsey or not? 🙂

8) What are you most looking forward to in 2014?
Woods: Men’s and women’s U.S. Opens at Pinehurst; Cheyenne Woods earns LPGA Tour card 🙂
McGirt: Trying to get my first win.
Pumarol: Getting back on the course!
Henson: Looking to have a busy 2014 playing a bit more in Europe.
Adams: The Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.
Remy: Ryder Cup in Gleneagles Scotland! Go USA!

McGirt: Too early to tell.
Pumarol: PGA – Tiger Woods. LPGA – Lexi Thompson.
Henson: Tiger Woods.
Adams: Adam Scott (PGA) and Stacy Lewis (LPGA).
Remy: Rory making a big comeback? LPGA – Suzann Pettersen, I hope!

McGirt: Too early to tell.
Pumarol: PGA – Benjamin Alvarado (Chile). LPGA – Lydia Ko.
Henson: I have no clue. So much talent coming up on both tours!
Adams: Chesson Hadley (PGA) and Lydia Ko (LPGA).
Remy: Most likely somebody we have never heard from!
