What Would Golf Have Looked Like Without Nike Clubs?

It’s usually not very prudent to deal in hypotheticals, but given the news that Nike is leaving the golf space, the folks at SkratchTV couldn’t resist. The landscape of golf over the past 20 years has been largely influenced by the likes of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy smashing Swoosh-branded clubs around the world’s most prestigious courses.

Skratch could have gone any number of ways with this, but they chose the simple, yet iconic shot Rory hit into the 18th hole at PGA National during the 2014 Honda Classic. The whole thing is mesmerizing, from the strike to the follow through, all the way down to the invisible club twirl and handing the fairway wood off to his caddie.

Well done.
