It’s hard to give the MVC to anything but the club that won Spieth the tournament on Sunday. Spieth pulled his 60° wedge for the bunker shot that sunk Berger’s bid for two wins in three weeks, holing it and leading to one of the best celebrations we’ve seen on Tour in quite some time. For the week, the two-time major champion acquited himself nicely around the greens finishing second in strokes gained: around the green and seventh in sand saves.
