Tools: DJ’s Winning Clubs at The Northern Trust

Dustin Johnson chased down 54-hole leader Jordan Spieth beating the reigning Open Champion on the first hole of sudden death to win The Northern Trust. DJ fired rounds of 65-69-67-66 to earn his first victory since March.

Check out the TaylorMade equipment he used to capture his fourth PGA Tour victory of the season.

Winning a tournament on the PGA Tour is difficult, and especially so in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. DJ had his entire arsenal clicking outside of New York City at The Northern Trust, but the most impressive facet — as it often is with Johnson — was his ability to take advantage of his power off of the tee. Johnson averaged 314.2 yards off of the tee (second in the field) and led the field in strokes gained: off the tee picking up more than five strokes off of the tee alone.
