The PGA Championship at Bethpage State Park’s Black Course later this month won’t be anything close to a home game for Tiger Woods, but he will be sleeping in his own bed — or at least one of them.
MarineTraffic.com reported that Woods’ $20 million yacht, “Privacy,” docked earlier this week in Oyster Bay, N.Y., about 13 miles from Bethpage Black.
“I don’t know if he’s here, but that’s his boat,” a worker at Oyster Bay Marine Center told Golf.com’s Josh Berhow. “I really don’t know too much, but I know it’s (his boat).”

Woods, who isn’t playing in this week’s Wells Fargo Championship nor next week’s AT&T Byron Nelson, hasn’t teed it up on the PGA Tour since winning last month’s Masters Tournament.

This will be the second time in two years that Woods opts to stay in the friendly confines of the 6,500-square foot mega-yacht. During last year’s U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills, Woods docked his boat at a yacht club in the Hamptons, which allowed him to avoid some of the notoriously bad Long Island traffic.

Speaking prior to the tournament, Woods was asked about the advantages he gets from docking his yacht nearby.
“Yeah, staying on the dinghy helps,” he said with a smile.
The yacht can sleep 10 people in five rooms, as well as nine crew members who sleep in four other cabins. Among the amenities included on the boat are a fully-equipped gym, three-person elevator, large jacuzzi, bar, scuba station and has room to carry three Sea-Doos, two ocean kayaks and two Vespa scooters, according to GolfChannel.com.
