Sergio Sends A Shot Across Bow Of Team USA

If it was unclear whether or not the European Ryder Cup team would use Davis Love III or Johnny Miller’s comments from last week and use them for motivation, we now have our answer.

Sergio Garcia, one of the biennial matches most consistent and top players, sent a shot across the bow of Captain Love and the entire U.S. team on Tuesday when asked if the Euros would use those words as motivating factors. Stopping short of using the full comparison of opinions and a certain orifice, Garcia confirmed that, indeed, the European Team had heard the comments and they had spoken about the comments.

Then, as he closed his answer, Garcia took his shot.

“At the end of the day, you don’t win Ryder Cup with your mouth, you know? You win them out there on the golf course. So that’s what we’ll see, which team is the best.”

Friday morning can’t come soon enough.
