Rickie, JT Give Tiger Hard Time Over Latest Video

Another day, another video of Tiger Woods making progress was shared to the 14-time major champion’s social media accounts. Perhaps the best indication of Woods’ current state is the comfort and frequency with which he is sharing updates publicly with his fans.

The “Return of the Stinger” post sent by Woods on Monday afternoon marks the fifth time in the last few weeks that Woods has posted a video of him hitting golf balls.

Another good sign is that those closest to Woods in professional golf circles know he’s doing well enough to give him a little good-natured ribbing on social media. Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas, both of whom have practiced with Tiger at his home in Jupiter and dined out with him, gave Woods some grief following his latest swing video.

Last week, Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg told Bob Harig of ESPN.com, “(Woods) got a nice report and is allowed to proceed. He can do as much as he needs to do. Tiger is going to take this very, very slowly. This is good, but he plans to do it the right way.”

No tournament or timetable has been set for Woods’ return to competitive golf.
