For a company who seemingly “cut their losses” in the golf space by shutting down its club and ball production in 2016, the Nike Golf brand has enjoyed a renaissance of sorts in recent years.
With the emergence of Brooks Koepka as well as major championship winners Francesco Molinari, Patrick Reed and now Tiger Woods, Nike staffers have won six of the past eight major championships.
One thing that hasn’t slowed down, however, is the Nike marketing machine. Capitalizing on Woods’ win at Augusta National on Sunday afternoon, Nike’s social media accounts had cobbled together a commercial mere seconds after the final putt dropped.

The spot, which was captioned, “Never stop chasing your crazy dream,” featured footage from Woods’ last major championship in 2008 at Torrey Pines, through his injuries and even harkens back to Woods as a toddler, culminated by a cherubic Woods bringing back up the chase to 18.
“I’m gonna beat Jack Nicklaus,” little Tiger says as the video fades to black and Nike’s iconic “Just do it,” tagline fills the screen.
