How Jordan Spieth Exorcised His Augusta Demons

In order for most people to overcome their fears, they must face them head-on. Jordan Spieth had the good fortune of exercising some of his demons by playing Augusta National twice in December. If only all of us could be so haunted.

It’s hard to forget when and how Spieth developed those demons.

His annual sojourn to Augusta around the holidays acted as Spieth’s retribution, but we all know making a pair of twos on No. 12 in December with friends and business associates around is different than when the heat is on during the tournament. At least for Spieth, he will have better recent memories of Amen Corner when the Masters kick off in 90 days.
