Recreating major championship pressure is very difficult to do, but Zach Johnson is trying something to replicate the type of angst that comes with the thought of missing a short putt ahead of this week’s U.S. Open.
Golf Channel cameras locked in on the two-time major champion working on his stroke at Pebble Beach Golf Links on Tuesday, and when Johnson missed a short putt, he dropped his putter and headed to the greenside rough.
Once safely off the putting surface, Johnson broke into a hilarious punishment routine.

The spinning jumping jacks numbered somewhere between 5 and 10 depending on your definition of the exercise.
That’s one way to put a little pressure on your practice.
