Els’ Ace Nets Beer For Travelers Media

The first thing you do when a buddy knocks in an ace is put a drink on his tab. When you’re Ernie Els and playing on the PGA Tour, your aces don’t come with the big bar bill, unless you want it to.

Unfortunately for Els, the hole-in-one was only good enough to manage him an even-par 70 on the day. Heading into Sunday Els finds himself 14 shots back of 54-hole leader Daniel Berger. Berger shot a third-round 62 to vault himself up to a three-stroke lead over Russell Knox, Tyrone Van Aswegan and Russell Henley.

Here are the round three highlights from TPC River Highlands.
