Two-time Masters winner Bubba Watson has the week off from the PGA Tour, but he is keeping busy. Watson was a guest at Wrigley Field on Tuesday where he did just about everything possible on the field except play in the game.
Watson hit shots off home plate, helped out the grounds grew with the field, threw out the first pitch and then ended the night in style – with a rendition of “Take Me Out To The Ball Game.”
All in all, it was a full day of hard work for one of golf’s top players.

Watson’s busy day began with a visit to the clubhouse where he met with Cubs stars Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant. The meeting featured an impromptu lesson on the locker room putting green.

Watson didn’t just talk to the players. He’s a blue-collar golfer and made friends with the most important people in the game — the grounds crew.

Watson delivered a first-pitch strike from the mound, which is always a risk considering some of the terrible first pitches we have seen over the years. Unlike rapper 50 Cent, Watson, a southpaw, calmly hit the mitt for a strike.

Watson ended the night with a visit to the radio booth to serenade the audience with the staple of the seventh inning stretch, “Take Me Out To The Ball Game.”
