Our first thought Tuesday when seeing Tiger Woods hit drives on Istanbul’s Bosphorous Bridge: What if he slices one into oncoming traffic? Even the world’s best golfer doesn’t always hit it straight.
Turns out, Tiger was concerned about the same thing. But he factored in the wind – which was whipping left to right, or toward the cars – when sizing up his shots.
He may not always hit it straight, but if he’s hitting draws into the wind, the chances of him shanking balls to his right are slim. Of course Tiger had a plan.
