The Odds: Tiger Woods Remains Big Favorite at Muirfield

Despite struggling in his last two tournaments — 65th- and 32nd-place finishes at the Memorial and U.S. Open, respectively — the LVH SuperBook still has Tiger Woods as the clear favorite at 8-to-1 to win the British Open, which begins July 18.

Tiger hasn’t played since his disappointing performance at Merion Golf Club last month, but the expectation is that his form will be closer to what it was during his win at THE PLAYERS Championship in May.

His new price is stretched ever so slightly from last month’s 7-to-1 mark. However, the next-shortest price is 20-to-1 — a number shared by Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott and Justin Rose. Speaking of McIlroy, his price is up from last month’s 12-to-1. He has four top-10 finishes this season, but, like Tiger, played poorly at the Memorial and U.S. Open, tying for 57th and 41st, respectively.

Below is the full list of LVH SuperBook’s updated odds to win next week’s British Open.
