While Tiger Woods remains the LVH SuperBook’s clear favorite to win next week’s PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y., the odds on the 14-time major champion have seen a slight upward adjustment over the last week.
Woods, who shot a 3-over 74 in the final round of the British Open to finish in a tie for sixth, is now 5-to-1 to win the PGA Championship, up from 9-to-2 the day after the Open Championship at Muirfield concluded.
Phil Mickelson, who cruised to a three-stroke win at Muirfield, is the 12-to-1 second choice for Oak Hill.
2013 Masters winner Adam Scott is 15-to-1, and U.S. Open champion Justin Rose is 20-to-1, tied with Brandt Snedeker as the fourth favorite for the season’s fourth major.
Tiger is also the favorite at this week’s World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational. Check back at The Linemakers on Sporting News later this week for odds on that event.
