The Ryder Cup tees off Friday at the Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland, and betting odds and props have been posted at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.
Europe squeaked by the United States in 2012 by a score of 14.5-13.5, its second consecutive win in the biennial series.
Rory McIlroy’s European side is the -165 favorite to extend its streak to three, while the Americans, led by Rickie Fowler, are priced at +180 to pull off the upset.
Individually, McIlroy, 7-to-2 to finish as the top combined points scorer, is once again expected to deliver a strong showing on a big stage. Sergio Garcia, Justin Rose, Fowler, Phil Mickelson and Ian Poulter follow McIlroy on the top combined points odds board with prices of 12-to-1.
