The PGA Tour tees off at the Old White TPC this week for the Greenbrier Classic. There won’t be any Tiger Woods or Rory McIlroy this weekend, but there are still some great golfers in action.
Bubba Watson, this year’s Masters winner, is the favorite this weekend at 10-to-1. He’s followed by Jimmy Walker at 12-to-1 and Webb Simpson at 20-to-1.
Watson hasn’t been able to find the winning stroke since taking home the green jacket back in April. He finished 48th at THE PLAYERS Championship, missed the cut at the U.S. Open and finished 31st at the Travelers Championship. He did finish third at the Memorial Tournament, though, so it hasn’t been all bad since Augusta.
Brian Blessing weighs in: This is the kind of wide open event to look to blow up the toteboard. Long shot plays would include: Daniel Summerhays (60-to-1), Scott Stallings (80-to-1), and Morgan Hoffman (100-to-1).
