Golfers have long been endorsed, sponsored and otherwise linked to companies of all kinds. Whether it’s through golf equipment, apparel, footwear, automobiles, or jewelry, the relationships we see across the game many times help define the player or the brand.
For the free-wheeling, high-flying, sky’s-the-limit Rickie Fowler, we’re not sure we’ve seen a better relationship than the latest deal he inked with the innovative private aviation company Wheels Up.
Fowler is the newest brand ambassador for the company and joined Wheels Up CEO Kenny Dichter on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” to discuss the partnership — among other things.

For a professional golfer, a relationship with a private aviation company makes so much sense. For Fowler, who likes to jet-set even when he’s not traveling to the 25 or 30 tour events he competes in each year, it’s an even better affiliation.
