Phil Mickelson Makes A Moving Day Charge In Memphis

Phil Mickelson was among a horde of contenders who were in position to make a run at 36-hole leader Daniel Berger on Saturday at the FedEx St. Jude Classic, but the PGA Tour second-year player managed to hold on to a three-shot lead heading into Sunday.

Mickelson went out in 2-under par 33 while Berger stumbled out of the gates. A late bogey from Phil on the 17th dropped him to 8-under par and Berger managed to right the ship, getting his round in at 1-under par 69.

Phil is joined by Steve Stricker and D.A. Points three shots back of Berger. Brooks Koepka, Colt Knost and Seung-Yul Noh are four shots back at 6-under par.
