PGA Tour Pro John Peterson Practices On Icy Interstate

Is there a warm place anywhere in the U.S.? Winter Storm Dion is crushing the Northeast right now. Peyton Manning is thawing out after an 18-degree win in Denver, and telling the critics who say he can’t play in cold weather to “shove it where the sun don’t shine.” And PGA Tour player John Peterson is stuck in traffic in Texas, so he’s relegated to practicing his golf game on the ice.

With a gallery of truck drivers and fellow frustrated travelers, Peterson pulled his clubs from his trunk and teed off on Interstate 20.

He even tried the Happy Gilmore drive:
