Kevin Kisner Suspended From Home Course

Just a few weeks after becoming your favorite golfer, Kevin Kisner is looking for somewhere new to practice. The PGA Tour pro who made his Masters debut earlier this month has been suspended from his Aiken, S.C. home course, Palmetto Golf Club. The suspension comes in the aftermath of the Vice Sports video released in the build up to the first major championship of the year.

The video shows Kisner cutting loose and having some fun with a few friends around the course that bears the fingerprints of Donald Ross and Dr. Alister MacKenzie.

Kisner’s suspension went public when a fan asked to donate to Hitchcock Woods in order to play a round with the pro. The reigning RSM Classic champion responded that he’d love to play, if only he could.

Kisner reiterated that he wasn’t welcome on his home course when he tweeted that he’d be doing prep work for upcoming PGA Tour events a few minutes up the road at Sage Valley Golf Club.

GolfWRX.com’s Ben Alberstadt followed up with Kisner to confirm that the club had actually suspended him for the video.

Apparently, playing golf and having some beers with your buddies is frowned upon at that establishment.
