Derek Jeter hasn’t been playing golf very long, but the former New York Yankees shortstop is passing milestones that some lifelong golfers still have yet to accomplish. Playing in his annual celebrity tournament at Shadow Creek that benefits the Derek Jeter “Turn 2” Foundation, Jeter stepped up to the tee and knocked one in on a pretty daunting par-3.
Not to be outdone, in San Antonio at the Valero Texas Open, Scott Stallings aced the par-3 13th hole on one hop to steal a bit of Jeter’s thunder.
