Ian Poulter Gets ‘Royal’ Treatment at Wimbledon

It’s a well-known fact that it’s good to be Ian Poulter. Not only does he have really unique car problems, he also gets to see and do a lot of really cool things … you know, outside of being a professional golfer who travels the world on private planes and plays the greatest courses on planet Earth.

He’s already had VIP access to the Daytona 500 and this week, the man in tartan pants was given the royal treatment at Wimbledon. As is customary for Poulter, he made sure to document much of his time there on social media:

“Let’s do this #Wimbledon with some cheeky Tartan.”

Poulter spent Wimbledon Saturday in the Royal box, hanging with other British sporting royalty like, for instance, David Beckham:

“David Beckham in his tweed & Poults in the tartan. Might have 1 upped on the outfit. Not on facial hair.”

Poulter, who hails from England but lives in Florida, is back home for the next couple of weeks to play the Scottish Open July 10 and the Open Championship on July 17 at Royal Liverpool. Until then, he’ll just continue to make everyone else excruciatingly jealous by living the life most only dream of.

Good for you, Poults. Good for you.
