Welp, Ernie Els just did the same thing. Except he’s playing in the Open Championship:
That’s a triple-bogey 7 on Els’ opening hole, and definitely not the way the two-time Open champion wanted to start his tournament. Let’s assume he focuses a little more on each following putt the rest of the day.
