Chappell Slam Dunks One From The Fairway

En route to his first-round 68, Kevin Chappell went nothin’ but the bottom of the cup on No. 10 from 158 yards out. The hole out moved Chappell to 3-under par for the day, but he gave one back coming in and finished the day in a tie for 18th at 2-under par.

Bryce Molder set the pace with an early 6-under par 64 to lead Patrick Reed, Webb Simpson and Anirban Lahiri by one stroke. Jordan Spieth fired a 3-under par 67 to sit three shots back after the first day.
