Ask Ali: Three Very Eligible Bachelorettes

This week, two very well-known celebrities admitted to joining the uber popular dating site Match.com. This prompted one of my best friends to test the online dating waters as well.

Lets meet our girls …

Bachelorette No. 1

MarthaStewart

Some may be shocked to discover that 71 year-old Martha Stewart, touted as the ultimate domestic diva, is taking to the Internet to find love. The divorcée who made a gazzillion-dollar empire out of “Living” is really embracing the whole experience. “I’ve always been a big believer that technology, if used well, can enhance one’s life. So here I am, looking to enhance my dating life,” she wrote on her Match.com profile.

The one and only Martha is on the hunt for a man who “relishes adventure and new experiences” and can teach her new things, according to her page on the website. She goes on to say, “I’m told that I’m a very specific person and that the efficiency of online dating might be a good way for me to find that needle in the haystack.” Among her favorite things are “House of Cards,” food and rap.

If you are single and fit her criteria, it won’t be difficult to find Ms. Stewart, who goes by the name “Thegoodlonglife.” She also chose to use an actual photo of herself for her profile pic. You are such a catch, Martha!

Bachelorette No. 2

JennyMcCarthy

Actress Jenny McCarthy, 39, uses her sister’s picture and goes by an alias on Match.com. She is looking for “Just a nice guy,” and explains it’s a little hard to find love in Los Angeles. “It’s so hard out here. The guys are like chicks here…there’s no real guy guys, so maybe importing from somewhere will be smart. Anyone not from L.A., I think.”

The blonde bombshell is not only a funny, best-selling author, but she’s an autism advocate as well. If Match.com doesn’t work out, maybe MTV needs to bring back her show “Singled Out.” I will gladly host it this time around.

Bachelorette No. 3

AliAmandaEdited

Saving the best for last, my friend Amanda is as sweet as she is beautiful. I’m hoping there is a golf enthusiast out there who will find her Match.com profile and sweep this SoCal gal off her feet. Her profile name is SD510 but don’t get intimidated guys; she’s actually a petite 5-foot-6. The profile name references a sentimental location in San Diego.

She has gorgeous, hazel eyes and lists traveling, concerts, working out, enjoying the beach and hiking as some of her many interests. Attending sporting events and trying new culinary creations are also some of her favorite activities. Amanda is looking for a guy who shares her enthusiasm for being physically fit, and is between the ages of 27 and 35. The brand management beauty says, “I am looking for a down to earth guy who is confident but doesn’t always need to be the center of attention, makes me smile, and isn’t afraid to be in a relationship.” Make sure to find Amanda on Match.com but don’t wait too long, because I have a feeling she won’t be on the market much longer …

Amanda does have her own clubs and goes to the driving range every once in a while, but has been “too scared to hit the course.” Sounds like she just needs a good partner, any takers?

There you have it: three very eligible bachelorettes on Match.com. Single studs please apply. If you need any dating/relationship advice, be sure write me @Alywaite #AskAliB9N or DM @AskAliB9N.
