Sometimes in golf, you just have to drop trou.
That’s what was facing Dane Andreas Harto in the final round of the Trophee Hassan II on the European Tour on Sunday from Morocco.
Finding himself in a water hazard at the par-3 14th hole, Harto took off his pants to extricate himself without having to take a penalty stroke. He wound up making bogey on the hole, shooting 1-over 73 and finishing T-15 for his best finish of the season.
Afterward, Harto took to Twitter to laugh about it all.
He said, “Wasn’t what I had hoped for but I fought well! My legs had a bit of “air time” after playing out of the water on 14!”
Then he attached a screengrab of how he looked on TV.
Still, Harto’s strip show is nothing compared to what Henrik Stenson did in the first round of the 2009 WGC-CA Championship.
