Rickie Fowler and Jimmy Walker are paired together for Friday morning’s four-ball matches, marking Walker’s Ryder Cup debut. Judging by the pair’s performance at the Ryder Cup Gala, they’re going to make a fantastic team.
Fowler, as you may know, is quite adept in the art of photobombing. Of course he is – he’s 25 years old. But his 35-year-old compadre joined in on the fun Wednesday, popping into the frame behind two old, married couples – Jim Furyk (44) with his wife, Tabitha, and Phil Mickelson (44) with his wife, Amy:
That may be Fowler’s best photobomb yet – and that’s saying something considering his other gems. Such as a day earlier, when Fowler snuck in behind Sergeant Noah Galloway while Phil Mickelson snapped a selfie with Galloway’s phone:
And remember all the hubbub last month surrounding Tiger Woods’ arrival at the PGA Championship? Fowler made sure the cameras caught him too:
Fowler’s fun began last year at the U.S. Open, when he and pal Bubba Watson entertained themselves during a rain delay by creeping up behind fellow competitors while they were being interviewed on TV. The videos were classic, but have since been taken down, so we have to live with these screenshots:
