Golfers don’t often make appearances on talk shows, let alone sit down on the most popular of late night shows. So when the two most popular golfers in the game, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, are simultaneous guests on the most popular talk show, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” it’s must-watch TV.

Not surprisingly, Tiger and Rory’s appearance immediately jumped to the top of our list of the most memorable golfer appearances on talk shows:
Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”
The much-anticipated appearance of golf’s biggest superstars didn’t disappoint with Fallon — although it would’ve been great to see Woods take part in “Facebreakers” as well. Instead, McIlroy smoked Fallon and an injured Woods just made fun of the host:
Justin Timberlake on “The Jonathan Ross Show”
OK, so Timberlake isn’t a professional golfer, but he’s an avid one. Not that that really mattered when he hilariously played drunk mini golf on Britain’s “Jonathan Ross Show”:
Rory McIlroy on “The Gerry Kelly Show”
Of course, there was Tiger on “The Mike Douglas Show,” but there was also Rory on “The Gerry Kelly Show” as an 8-year-old, chipping balls into his mum’s washing machine:
Tiger Woods on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”
Ellen isn’t one to just sit and talk with celebrities; she’s a bit more creative. When Woods appeared on her show, they held a hitting contest. Tiger was Tiger, and Ellen “shocked herself”:
Lucas Glover on “Late Show With David Letterman”
After his surprising win at the 2009 U.S. Open at Bethpage Black on Long Island, Lucas Glover was invited to be on with David Letterman in New York City. “G. Lover” was a great sport in making fun of himself:
Bubba Watson on “Piers Morgan Tonight”
After winning his first Masters, Bubba Watson enjoyed a bit of a media tour, and Piers Morgan was allowed in on that because, oddly enough, Watson thought Morgan was a “prick” on “America’s Got Talent”:
Justin Rose on “Late Show With David Letterman”
After picking up the 2013 U.S. Open at Merion near Philadelphia, Rose made his way up to NYC to read a Letterman top-10 list: Questions People Ask Me About Golf:
Tiger Woods on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”
It’s a shame that when Fallon made the move to the coveted “Tonight Show” slot, replacing Jay Leno, NBC took down tons of old Leno video (such as Watson smashing fruit), as well as Fallon video from his old show (such as a previous appearance by McIlroy). Somehow, though, this clip of a partial segment survived – Fallon, Amy Poehler and Woods playing the new “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters” video game:
Charl Schwartzel on (sort of) “Late Show With David Letterman”
After his surprise win at the 2011 Masters, Charl Schwartzel was honored on Letterman’s show. Well, more so he was made fun of with a top-10 list: Surprising Facts About Charl Schwartzel:
