While growing up, I learned most of what I needed to know in life from cartoons. This included how to chase a roadrunner with ACME products, how to learn kung-fu from an oversized rat, and even how to keep the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man at bay.
Sadly, I was not around in 1944 to learn how to play golf from the fine folks at Disney. Thankfully, we now have the internet and can watch this hilarious cartoon from the comfort of our work cubicles!
Around the 3-minute mark is probably my favorite moment of the video when Goofy pulls out a “Bomb Sight” periscope device to line up his one-foot putt. Very reminiscent of Rodney Dangerfield’s telescoping putter from “Caddyshack,” no?
