Steph Curry Crashes Hotel Room with Golf Swing

It’s the little things in life that make the biggest impact on us, like finding a room with high ceilings that we can practice our golf swings without fear of repercussion or damage.

Imagine NBA All-Star and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry’s excitement when he thought that he had found a hotel room with just enough room to work on his swing. Curry, you may recall, is a pretty solid stick. He plays off a 0.6 handicap as of the March 1 revision and he acquitted himself nicely in his Web.com Tour debut last August.

His latest golf-related sojourn, however, didn’t have quite the happy ending that his first Tour start. With a day off on Thursday in between games against the Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards, Curry had his clubs at the ready and was dialing in his swing in his hotel room when things went haywire.

Curry signed a $201 million contract last year that pays him over $40 million per year, so that glass table isn’t the biggest of issues for Steph; whatever swing flaw caused the damage is.
