Comedian Stephen Colbert is not much of a golf aficionado, but he is a fan of the power couple. So he was saddened to learn about the breakup of Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki.
Celebrity relationships – and especially their downfalls – are easy fodder for comedians. Thus, after seeing the big wins on Sunday by both McIlroy and Wozniacki, Colbert lined up a few jokes about the athletes for his show, “The Colbert Report,” Tuesday night:
