Actor Christopher McDonald, famously known for his role as Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore, was arrested earlier this week for driving under the influence… and I’m not talking about driving golf balls.
McDonald was pulled over by North Carolina Highway Patrol officers and blew a reading of 0.15 BAC on a breathalyzer. The state’s legal limit is 0.08, much like other areas of the country.
The tabloid site TMZ was on the ball obtaining a mugshot of the obviously distressed actor, which looks eerily like his expression after he lost to Adam Sandler’s character in Gilmore.
No reports on whether anyone yelled “jackass” at McDonald during his arrest, but we can only hope.
