The Camaro Z-28 is back. Chevrolet surprised audiences at the New York Auto Show with a restyled 2014 model.
The carmaker told Gizmag their hope was to make the fastest street-legal version of the Camaro, first conceived in 1967, possible. They began by dropping 300 lbs from the total vehicle weight, including a lighter battery, carpet and removing anything unnecessary for the goal of speed.
The vehicle hits the open market next Spring. Pricing was not announced.
