President Trump’s Handicap Account Hacked

President Donald Trump appeared to have shot one of the best rounds of his life recently as his official USGA GHIN Handicap page showed a round of 68 shot by the Commander in Chief dated April of 2019.

However, a string of scores well over 100 were similarly added to his card, which led to an investigation that ultimately concluded Trump’s handicap account had been hacked.

“We have become aware of reports in the media questioning recent scores posted on President Trump’s GHIN account,” USGA spokeswoman Janeen Driscoll said in a statement. “As we dug into the data it appears someone has erroneously posted a number of scores on behalf of the GHIN user. We are taking corrective action to remove the scores and partnering with our allied golf associations and their member clubs to determine the origin of the issue.”

Trump’s scores in excess of 100, as well as his 68, were removed by the USGA, and the organization said they were looking further into the hack.
