Newly-Crowned Miss World 2014, Rolene Strauss, Is A Golfer

For the most part, golf is a beautiful game. There are amazing landscapes, both natural and manufactured scenes that make your jaw drop and the game, itself, carries with it a sense of poetry in motion.

But there’s always more room for beauty. And, luckily for us, it comes today in the form of Miss World Rolene Strauss.

Strauss, who was representing South Africa at the Miss World Competition in London this weekend, won the event. She’s been a member of the South African Golf Association and Women’s Golf of South Africa since 2007 and considers golf among her favorite activities.

Somehow, that information makes us picture the hopeful bachelors out on the course that run into Strauss and we’re taken back to Lloyd Christmas’ revelation in “Dumb and Dumber:”

On a slightly more serious note, Strauss seems to be an avid golfer and even took part in an Adams Golf event and the South Africa Golf Day this past spring.
