Less Than 100 Days Until Golf Returns To The Olympics

Despite the headlines surrounding golf in the Olympics recently, there is still a sense of excitement surrounding the game’s return to the world stage in less than 100 days. NBC Olympic broadcaster Bob Costas spoke to Golf Channel Wednesday about the emotional impact he expects golfers to feel when they enter the arena for the first time.

While Adam Scott, Louis Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel and Vijay Singh skipping the Olympics has been the most prominent story line to this point, the expected inclusion of the likes of Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia, Henrik Stenson and Hideki Matsuyama should be more than enough to bolster golf’s inclusion for the first time in more than 100 years.

And now, the countdown is on.
