You might remember James Nitties. The 31-year-old Australian earned his PGA Tour card in 2009 and came about $70k short of $1 million in winnings that season. He recorded two top-10 finishes in his first six starts.
The next year wasn’t as good. One top-10, four top-25s, and $525k in earnings. He’s been on the Web.com Tour ever since – which is awesome (for us) because that means Nitties gets to enter the Mustache Madness contest each year prior to the tour’s Utah Championship.
Nitties captured the 2012 title with a sideburn-mustache thing he called the Monkeytail. On Wednesday, he unveiled the sweetest mustache-hairdo combo golf has ever seen, and deservedly won again. We give you the Mowtache: part mustache, part Mohawk, completely amazing:

This means we’ll have to make some updates to our list of the best mustaches in golf. Maybe Nitties doesn’t overtake Fluff at No. 1 or some of those handlebars, but he’s up there.
However, crazy as it might seem, Nitties may not even win the week as it pertains to mustaches. Because a day before his second Mustache Madness title in three years, this happened:
