Trench Shot Snaps Club When Then Hits Camera

Golf is a social sport, and we think it’s fun to share golf experiences; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Partnering with our friends at gottaGolf (The Ball Tracer & Social Golf App), SxS is proud to bring you “Golf Fails brought to you by gottaGolf,” a weekly reminder that golf is… really hard.

We’ve all done it before: talked about trying to pull off a shot that after only a slightly further review seems like a bad idea. Of course, since we’ve stated our intentions and feel some moral obligation to entertain our golf buddies, we try to pull off an incredibly unlikely shot only to hurt ourselves, our score or someone else in the process.

At least, we hope that’s the thought process that was going on here because there’s no way our trench-swinging friend in the video above could have believed that trying to hit a ball from a hole a few yards below his feet was honestly a good idea.

To add insult to injury, right before the video cuts off, it appears as if an actual injury is about to take place as the snapped golf club somehow flew on a 90° angle directly at the cameraman.

It was a losing situation all the way around.
