Laurel Gill is a proud graduate of the United States Naval Academy who has since played in some amateur tournaments after her college career came to a close. She is in constant pursuit of improvement regarding her golf game after she founded the women’s golf team at the USNA. She served as captain during all of her years there. Miss America 2015, Kira Kazantsev, took up golf when she was young as a way to spend time with her dad. She lost interest in high school and college, but started again when a judge asked her if she could play golf during a pageant.
