Thanya Pattamakijsakul is a student-athlete on the ladies golf team at Texas A&M. Her father introduced her to the game of golf at age 11 in Thailand, where she was born and grew up. Maria Verchenova is a professional golfer as well as the playing editor for Golf Digest Russia. She is a member of #TeamWWD (Women With Drive), a movement that is trying to advance female golfers in the sport.
