Since officially retiring from the soccer world, David Beckham hasn’t been afraid to put himself out there.
Upon retirement, he launched a new fragrance and has since said he intends to one day buy a Major League Soccer franchise.
Most recently, the worldwide superstar has put himself on the beverage map, teaming up with British spirit company Diageo. Together, Beckham and the company, which is among Britain’s leading manufacturers of quality adult beverages, paired to launch Haig Club Scotch.
In bringing Beckham in, the drinks giant aims to appeal to the ever-growing market of drinkers interested in whiskies.
Haig Club reportedly features a blend of butterscotch and toffee notes and will retail at $65. The scotch joins the drink maker’s “House of Haig” collection and is said to be the perfect drink to both appeal to scotch-drinkers new and old.
Beckham’s wife Victoria showed her support of her husband’s new venture on Twitter:
